News of all kinds
- Ramping up fast on our first big project for 2009: The Adventures of Roger and Tatum. Written by Darrell Parker and Jim McQuaid, this promises to be a hilarious look at the domestic adjustments of a twenty-something couple. - As gasoline prices come back down, people are ignoring the problem of "peak oil" but DVDs of After The Peak are still selling (slowly!) on http://www.afterthepeak.com and thru Amazon (who is also selling the Trouble in the Water DVD).
- Trouble in the Water was shown locally at the Internationalist Book Store in Chapel Hill.
- Trouble in the Water was shown at the Eugene International Film Festival in October. Roger Edwards and Jim McQuaid were able to attend this great little festival. Lots of indie film activity out there in Oregon!
- Trouble in the Water was shown at the Third Charlotte Film Festival on Saturday, September 27th. Jim McQuaid was also on a panel discussion about Film & The Internet.
- UNC-TV's North Carolina Independent Film Series, Visions, selected Trouble in the Water for their 2008 season (which aired in May 2008).
